The Big Reap by Chris Holm, Chris F. Holm

3.0

Objectively speaking, this was the best written book of the trilogy. But speaking from my gut, I think I liked the middle book better (Gio and Theresa 4evah!). The events here were a magnitude more 'important' but they also felt disconnected from the story that came before, and despite an ending that I didn't quite see coming, the rest was all very point A to point B to point C with some very convenient plot contrivances to string them together. This sounds like I didn't like it, which I did, just not as much as I could have.
