All You Need Is Kill
by Ryōsuke Takeuchi
Solid manga. It’s a good story, and the book nails the way the iterations of the time loop that forms the central plot point end and restart very nicely. The art is standard fare, if well-done, and has the common problem I always find with manga: it looks cool but I can’t always tell what’s going on in action scenes. I did think that the overall explanation of the time loop could have been better fleshed-out, but I’m probably just being picky. Overall, a good read.
