I wasn't expecting to enjoy this book as much as I did. It was a very solid, well written read. It had more mystery than I expected it to which was a welcomed surprise. Typically with a dual story line, I find myself drawn to one character/time line more than the other but I felt that both were equally strong and enjoyable. The ending felt a little rushed, and it would have been nice to have some more depth to the characters, but overall it was a touching story.
