This dragged a bit in the middle and was too long considering not much happened in the first half. I also found the political plot a little convoluted but that is probably a me issue. I didn’t enjoy this as much as Fourth Wing, but I always tend to enjoy the first book set in the sort-of-dystopian world because I find that interesting and revolution less so :’)
BUT I love this series sooooo much and really enjoyed this! And the ending was crazy!!!
I also listened along with the graphic audio again (although only in the second half once Everand actually let me read things again :/) and I find that so fun and immersive! My only grievance with that format is when some sections (like a paragraph or two) are cut out! Usually it’s not something super important and more like background info, but I wouldn’t want to miss anything listening to it that way, and it makes me confused when I’m reading along haha
