it was good & was a book that actually made me have to think and process what was written. it does open up important discussions regarding mental health— especially considering it was published in the 60’s and there wasn’t those kinds of discussions. however (i might be the friend that’s too woke) the racism depicted in the book didn’t sit well with me in the slightest and made me not like the book as much as others might.
