This was an absolutely lovely tale, one that is stock full of heart, tension and character growth. It works well as a hate to love story, as Meyer is the master of a slow burn. We get to see our protagonists grow, learn and face their prejudices, faults and expand their views and values. I loved that their chemistry and awkwardness felt authentic, I found myself crying at several places throughout as the misunderstandings ans insecurities were ones that brought back such vivid memories of the same, she does not brush over the communication in either too much awkwardness or chemistry, but allows them to be raw moments that drew something in me and made me root for a couple like I hadn't in a long time. Because I could really believe they brought out the best in each other.
