Midwinterblood by Marcus Sedgwick

This book was not at all in my realm of books I would voluntarily pick up. It was an assignment for a grad class. In terms of how the book was written, it was amazing. I think the author must be somewhat of a genius to have come up with all those stories and connect them and use factual things intertwined with fictional and fantasy elements. It was a hard read for me because of my disinterest in the topic and also because it is a complex book. It follows two characters and their love story through time. There are Vikings, Vampires, Kings and Queens and many other types of references in it
