Whilst it was difficult to read at points - the way Elizabeth and the women around her are treated is so sad and frustrating - I was engaged for every page of this book. I think the heavy nature of the story combined with Garmus' comedic writing style packed such a punch. This book deserves every bit of praise it gets. I loved Elizabeth Zott and her zany family.
