Friends and Strangers by John A. Miller

4.0

I loved the way Roger and Mary's relationship developed. It was sweet, old-fashioned courting and both of them made decisions as strong partners to keep it growing. The characters are well-developed and the reader gets a taste of strengths and weaknesses, quirks and endearing traits. It's not just a romance. Trust, friendship, and loyalty are all part of the story, and part of the solution to the murder mystery, too.
