This was a solid single parent x nanny book. There was a number of things about this book that I enjoyed but Tate and Lanie's relationship takes the cake for me. I loved watching them heal each other without even really realizing it at first. I liked everything Dex was doing to show her he was in it for the long haul. Overall this was a good read! I didn't really understand the whole plot of doing everything "behind her back" with her family the entire time like I get it but also if that was me I would be super annoyed with my best friend lmao. Also while I was happy for their miracle babies I do wish we could have seen them have a life where she learned to be at peace with the trauma and truly understand her strength and that it didn't make her less than to have that trauma. (this is vague but I don't want to completely spoil what she went through) Thats just me being nit-picky however. Again overall enjoyed this!
