Beautiful Redemption by Kami Garcia, Margaret Stohl
2.0
I have to say that this book really let me down. I've come up with the conclusion that the series peaked in its first two books. By this one, I was barely skimming the last 100 pages.
Ethan and Lena came across as too co-dependent, and there wasn't any closure for anyone who wasn't those two main characters. The middle was interesting, but that stopped as soon as Lena's PoV picked up.
I enjoyed the first few books, but I don't recommend continuing past the penultimate one. The penultimate had the best ending, it restored the world but still left the reader guessing. I don't think I'll be reading the spin-off series, as much as I like Link and Ridley their back and forth is extremely aggravating.
