Acceptance
by Jeff VanderMeer
I've loved all three (so far) of these books. Almost nothing happens in them, but VanderMeer creates an atmosphere of creepiness and dread that I'm addicted to. The central mystery (what happened?) is still not addressed, but how it happened is more clear now.
That won't really make sense to you until you read it. And I've read there is a fourth book being written, but I don't expect any more answers in that one. in fact, I don't think answers is the point of the series. I think the point is accepting that you can't know everything and you should maker the most with what you have.
