After a year i have reached for another one of Nesbo's books. I had expected a lot of things: for it to be a total disaster, for me to really enjoy it and even both! What I did not expect however, was for this book to be a total snoozefest. It was so boring and nothing really happened there. I do understand that it's more of a short story than a novel, but that was not a thriller (and calling this a crime book? Don't even get me started on that)! Not only did it not make me feel excited and thrilled, I wasn't even invested in the (oh ever so short and quick) story.
As we all know, in Headhunters we read about a man swimming in feces. In this work of art, the main character hides in the dead body of a buck, which is filled with magotts. Apparently, Nesbo loves disgusting, unrealistic and long depictions of gross and insane situations to traumatise his readers. Is he okay? Does he need help?
