Fables: Werewolves of the Heartland
by Bill Willingham
A sort of side story to the main FABLES storyline.
I’m a huge fan of Fables and of Bigby in particular so it’s no surprise that my rating is high.
The two reasons it didn’t hit the five star mark was because I somehow felt like a lot of the nudity/violence bordered on gratuitous, and because the writing was a little off. After the wonderful storytelling from the main series and the other spin-offs, WOTH feels a little forced and scattered.
Not as bad a many reviewers make it out to be. Just keep an open mind.
