Meh. I read this on the recommendation of one or two of my teen nieces. I was not impressed. It fell flat to me. I found it mildly humorous. Maybe it's a generational thing. I like Mindy Kaling as a comedian, but perhaps I couldn't hear her voice in the writing the way I could hear Tina Fey's voice in my head while reading Bossypants.
