I love when a book gives me chills. This book was a dark romance/ thriller, and it delivered fantastically in both genres. Gabby is an awesome narrator and Paxton is both fearsome and enigmatic. I just hope he doesn't die of a heart attack from being so pissed off all the time.
I have to warn you though. This book, while not as dark as I'm used to, could seriously not be everyone's cup of tea. I love reading about taboo and dark romantic relationships, but if you want the mushy gushy crap where everyone stays on the sunny side of morality, this book is not for you.
This book is rough and honest and sometimes uncomfortable. I loved it.
On to the sequel.
