Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell

Now, I definitely know this is not a mind blowing piece of literature. Did it gloss over a few things that could have made the book better? Yeah, of course. However, it's still a nice story which punches you in the heart a few times. The author remembers what it's like to be a teenager, which makes bring up your own nostalgic memories. Which to be honest are of course full of angst and love. Throw in domestic abuse, bullying, lots of 80's pop references, and you got yourself a nice fluffy story. Which all in all, is what it's kind of supposed to be. (There is vulgar language though, you've been warned.)
