Find Your Path CD: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong with the Fit52 Life by Carrie Underwood
4.5
I love Carrie and always have since her Idol days so this was fun. It was validating for me to hear all of her tips and tricks were things I also value and advise others. A few chapters her trainer or nutritionist would go into detail about a workout plan or diet plan that seemed a bit long but very insightful! I love fit52 and the flexibility and easiness and fun it is!
I especially loved hearing her experience with fitness and nutrition during her pregnancies, since it's applicable to me now!
She's awesome and continues to be awesome and one of my favorites!

Who you were influences who you are.
Workout when you can for the days you can't - some days things come up as life is full of surprises, that's okay
Your body is an adaptation machine.
Stay consistent with inconsistencies.
Exercising when pregnant is not the same as exercising when you're not.
When you eat the leftover food on your kids plate you are playing the role of human garbage can, and a garbage can doesn't have fitness goals.
Even when I workout, I feel guilty because I think "That's an hour I could have spent with my kids." Logically, I know that I am a better mom because I workout. It makes me feel happier, calmer, and stronger, and it gives me the energy and endurance I need to be the mom my kids need."
Don't let guilt be an excuse to make bad decisions for yourself.
There is nothing better for a child than happy, healthy, balanced, loving parents.
