The last book in the Cane Brothers series and another near-perfect book. I adored this story! Normally friends-to-lovers is one of my least favorite tropes. But holy crap, it was done SO WELL in this book. Breaker might be my favorite Cane brother, I honestly don't know at this point because I love them all for different reasons. But Breaker and Lia's friendship being so heavily based on their nerdiness was something I appreciated very much as a nerd myself. Everything about this book was done amazingly and I really liked it. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the sudden switch to 'your fiancé is a douche bag' out of nowhere, simply because he suddenly developed feelings for her. The fiancé (Brian) seemed like a perfectly fine guy, just not the one for her is all. And they made him out to be a much bigger jerk than he was after Breaker realized his feelings for Lia. I think that's really my only complaint. But at the same time, people aren't perfect and I can definitely see a guy thinking the way Breaker did about Brian because he loved Lia. Soooo, even though I wasn't a fan of that part it's still not far-fetched. And it didn't ruin the book.

This series might be one of my favorite romance series of all time. Every single book was nearly perfect. And the things that kept them from being perfect were small and didn't ruin the books overall. Meghan is now an auto-buy author for sure and I need to read her back log of other books STAT!
