Murderland: Crime and Bloodlust in the Time of Serial Killers
by Caroline Fraser
Here are my random thoughts that are probably different than many other reviews:
- there is no discussion about the millions of people affected by the same pollutants that don't become serial killers.
- you could buy a gun at Payless Drugs? "I'll take a triple cone of Medieval Chocolate and a 45 please." (or whatever, I don't know guns.
- way too many serial killers drive VW bugs! (thankfully we owned a Fastback)
- I can't believe they used teenagers (Scouts) for these searches! talk about trauma!
- I was shocked by how many women went along with their rapists/murderers. I would never! (right?) But then I think maybe I wouldn't because I've read too many stories about women who did.
- I kept waiting for a full circle moment to happen with the author's life. I don't feel like that ever happened.
