Jackaby
by William Ritter
I, as a BBC's Sherlock fan, loved this book. Jackaby is like a stranger version of Sherlock, and I saw no harm in picturing him as Benedict Cumberbatch while reading. The book itself was a good fun read. Jackaby's antics had me laughing at times. I could connect well with Abigail Rook, a girl who just wanted some adventure. The plot twist was a little bit predictable, but a nice touch.
