This is by far one of, if not the most unique books I've ever read. It took a bit to get into the rhythm of the story telling since it seamlessly flows through first, second, and third person. I listened to a decent amount of it on audiobook and the narrator did a truly phenomenal job; the only reason I switched to ebook was that my partner was having a hard time following when we listened together. I don't even fully know how to describe this book or say why I loved it so much, but it truly was one of a kind. It's somehow ethereal and visceral at the same time, the characters are beautifully fleshed out, I'm genuinely sad to be done with this book and not living in its world AND its prose anymore.
