It took a bit for me to be fully rooting for the main character, but once I was, there was no turning back. This book felt like such a tender story with a really wonderful romance. I also really appreciate how Penny's trauma was handled. I experienced the same thing in a very similar way and it felt like I was being seen and validated when I read this.
