I hadn’t realised this was a continuation of the TV series, being as it’s labelled Series One. As such it starts in the middle of the women’s stories rather than at the beginning. I couldn’t wait to finish this - not because I wanted to know what would happen but because it was so boring. The characters are flat and not likeable as presented here.
As noted in other reviews, it ends on several “cliffhangers” but I for one am not interested in finding out what happens next.
