It had a lot of promise in the beginning with building intrigue despite the very bare-bones plot elements - you want to know why they're liars. Yet it never really goes anywhere and when it does the book is nearly finished and the plot twist just comes out of nowhere.
Its a fairly quick read and I enjoyed some of the writing and creative choices. I actually think this author would be good at more fantastical or fairytale-esque writing.
