I received this book from NetGalley for review.

This book was a little strange in many ways. There are a lot of plot lines going on that don't match up and come across as a soap-opera.

Ally just got out of a really bad break-up after walking in on her boyfriend in bed with her best friend and roommate. The first page she claims she loved him and not even 10 pages later she claims that she is unable to love. It felt like two different stories were smashed together to make up this book.
Ally has issues with her family as well. Her mother ran off when she was young and her father just remarried a girl younger than Ally.

Jack is just so cliche it's painful. Manwhore, happy that way. Has a crazy ex that he still feels responsible for even though he keeps saying he doesn't care about her at all, he still runs to her aid whenever she calls instead of either ignoring her or calling the cops to pick her up. The thing about him that makes the least amount of sense is for most of the book he says he's happy sleeping around and doesn't want another relationship, and yet he seems to be trying to convince Ally to give him a chance at a relationship and gets mad at her when she says that he as to commit to her or he doesn't have a chance at all, or when she tried to shield herself from him and told him she only wanted to sleep with him.

There are so many things wrong with this book.
The pregnant drug addict ex-wife being the main thing. If she is an addict she would no way in hell get custody of a child.

I could barely finish this book, I just started skimming and skipping parts. This book was boring and cliche.
