The first half of Days at the Morisaki Bookshop was what I expected from the synopsis, a sweet story about the importance of reading and how fiction can help pull us out of low moments and see reflections of ourselves.
The second half of the book feels so different to the first. It’s a little darker and more fast paced. I just didn’t enjoy the second half of Days at the Morisaki Bookshop.
