A Lady's Secret by Jo Beverley

3.0

Enjoyable, but the hero and heroine seemed to waver a lot between finding ways to decide not to be together. It read better as an adventure caper than as a romance; there wasn't a lot of chemistry between them. The ending also felt a little bit like a cop-out -
Spoilerthe heroine's family saves the day, to a certain extent
; it didn't really work as a stand-alone novel.
