Theodora ‘Dora’ Ettings was cursed by a faerie as a kid. Ever since she has no fears or a sense of embarrassment. This does not bode well when you live in Regency England. Being a polite lady of society is difficult when you stumble into accidental scandal without quite understanding. Dora’s reputation is at stake constantly, especially when she makes the acquaintance of Elias Wilder, the least liked man of high society. Lord Sorcier discovers Dora’s weakness and sets to out to help her. Perhaps one can fall in love with half a soul after all.

I am literally squealing with joy over here. If you’re in a slump after binging Bridgerton like I am you need to get Half A Soul. Bridgerton meets Howl’s Moving Castle, this magical tale will totally fill your Bridgerton sized hole.

Dora is now in my top fave female characters and I loved the magical fantasy feel of the book as well. I can’t tell you how much this needs to be on your TBR. Definitely grabbing the second book soon!

Oh such a delight to read, 4.5✨! Thank you @real_thesaurustea for the copy I can’t wait to grab the next one! And thank you @cozyinthenook for nudging me to read it.
