Okay.
I brought out my keyboard for this review.
I really like Mallory and Saint on the first book and that one ended on a cliffhanger so I continued on the series. The second was just so bad because nothing happened except a little danger that wasn't totally resolved.
We get to the last book where I assumed all hell will break lose and we get to see Mallory and Saint figure shit around their fucked up parents. But we don't. Instead, we get to see Mallory think about Saint. Forgetting Saint after their last fuck. And the cycle continues on.
I was so into the twist of the real mother showing up, Saint's dad trying to get rid of Mallory, the hot Ghost, and how Mallory will deal with all the stupid shit surrounding her.
I. am. 99.9 percent. fucking. disappointed.
This book contained so much cursing that it will take me a full week to simmer down. In summary, most my questions were answered but not in a satisfying way. This book was more focused on Mallory and Saint finally figuring out how they really feel. Ending is a big disappoinment.
What happened with their money? Saint's dad's company? And Nora? For someone so vengeful to just stop? And what were they doing now? What will they do? Just overall disappointed.
One positive is that at least I liked Mallory and Saint. The back-and-forth was just emotionally exhausting and this book needed more sustenance. Ugh.
