anneofcarmine 's review for:
The Girl He Used to Know
by Tracey Garvis Graves
This book is about Annika and Jonathan who fell in love in college and separated after. They met again several years after, still attracted to each other, but with issues still unresolved. Annika is in the autistic spectrum, yet highly functioning. I love how the author shows how a person like Annika goes about her days, how she blends in given her limitations and how she takes control of her life. I also love how Jonathan genuinely cares for Annika from the moment he met hear.
This book is an easy read. You don't have to keep track of a lot of names because there aren't a lot of characters. While the story is good, it's not the type that kept me turning the pages until I got to the last 50 pages of the book.
