It's in His Kiss by Julia Quinn

3.0

(My rating system for the Bridgerton books is it's own thing and doesn't fall in line with my usual rating)

Book seven in the Bridgerton series, starring Hyacinth and Gareth.

Not gonna lie, Hyacinth annoyed me in like every other book so I wasn’t really looking forward to this read. But she redeemed herself a bit in it (though still bothered me at times). As for our hero, I liked his situation and background. His personality fit Hyacinth’s and they played nicely off each other.

I love that we got more Lady Danbury (Gareth’s grandmother). She is all I aspire to be when I grow up.

The plot was a lot more interesting than some of the other books with a bit of mystery and breaking-and-entering.

(Spoiler but not really, the best part of the entire book is when Gareth goes to Anthony to ask for Hyacinth’s hand.)
