Rebels of Eden by Joey Graceffa

3.0

I loved the two previous books of this series with all the dystopian society vibes mixed with Sci fi elements. It also touched slightly on polyamory and lgbtq+ characters, loved that. The series has a great storyline & characters!! As a whole series I would rate it 4 stars but I had to take one off because, one gripe I had was the multiple typos throughout the book. Proof reading is very important b4 publishing, so that was pretty disappointing honestly. Not sure what happened there. Besides the typos, the story was pretty well written.

Example 1: (Page: 2) "...courage I possess to face whatever Zander as in store for me."

Example 2: (Page: 20) "| grew up with steel and concrete and symthetics- I am...”

Example 3: (Page: 283) “he’s made me feel better, but the grief and the guilt still threaten to overwhelms me.”

Lastly I took off another star, just because of the ending. I understand that the ending was more realistic and such but I just expected so much more from the series. It felt rushed and I feel like the author could have done so much more for the story and the characters. You don’t know what really happened to some characters. It wasn’t a bad book, but I just wanted more out of it I guess.
