a funny lighthearted romcom until you think about it too long, then the characters take over your brain. would be a tragedy if the pov character's main coping mechanism wasn't denial and humor. love this book so So much, definitely recommend. very rereadable too imo, you can miss some things on the first read bc of shen yuan's unreliable narration
