Sometimes disappearing isn't about going from point A to point B and going into hiding, as was the case with Charlotte Caulfield. Sometimes it's about shrinking yourself down, tucking all the parts of you that make you you away and putting on a mask in order to fit into a mold of a new role because life has thrown you a curveball. Like your mother running off with a con man and leaving you to raise your eight-year-old sister as was the case with Jess Greene.

However, if you're really lucky, you'll meet someone who won't let you disappear, who will coax out those smiles and glimpses of who you could've been and who you would be if you felt you had the freedom to love and let someone love you. Luckily for Jess, Adam Hawkins is such a person.

This was an interesting one for me with the mystery element of what happened to Jess and Teagan's mother and the romance between Jess and Adam. Plus the added element of Adam's motivation for being there in the first place and how things shift for him as he gets to know Jess.
