The Adventures of Robin Hood by Roger Lancelyn Green

3.0

As the title suggests this book is full of adventures, each short chapter a standalone adventure, but with some references to earlier adventures each time. Most of the time it is either robin hood taking part in an archery competition, or getting bored and going into the forest to pick a friendly fight with the first person he can find then to invite him to dinner. We meet all the merry men one by one, and a mysterious black knight (it is too obvious who it is that it isn't much of a reveal). Was a little surprised at all the death in the book though as i thought this was a kids book by the writing style and chapter lengths, but a fair few people are killed off!
