I really enjoyed this book. Definitely a Cinderella retelling but I appreciate the addition of an insane rooster! Jane was adorable although her sisters deserved to be chucked out a window. Brock was a tougher character for me to enjoy because he was such a strong character in many ways but yet was still caving to his control freak grandfather. It was just a little hard to reconcile. His twin brothers though were adorable and definitely redeemed some of the areas where the book fell flat.
