A Treachery of Swans
by A. B. Poranek
Something I loved about this book was the yearning! It was so beautifully done.
A Treachery of Swans is wonderfully atmospheric and plays our like a stage show. I enjoyed all the Swan Lake references.
Something that I would have liked was more of Marie and Odile's backstory, as it seemed their feelings were based mostly on knowing each other from the past. Also, the epilogue was a bit rushed, though I won't spoil why.
Overall, an enjoyable fantasy YA book that leans to an older YA audience and wonderful queer representation.
