Read-- April 10th 2022
🎶Music for story:
Adonia " House Corner"
Kranium " Stamina"
📚Favorites sayin/quotes:
"Don't let someone make the decision of what's right for you."
" It didn't matter what anyone else thought or said. They were happy, and that was all that mattered."
📚 My Review
Honestly, it was the book cover plus title that captured my attention ans I am so happy I did😍.
This story was full of Orc's, Faries, Elves, Werewolves, Goblins, Nymphs and so much more.
We follow three work friends, Ris, Lurielle, and Silva as they have a girls weekend at a Orc Nudist Resort. It was a weekend of flings with no strings attach, champagne for breakfast, and getting nasty under the fire works.
📚What I liked-
●Consent adults
●Themes on insercurities, self love, family expectations, finding love in the strangest place, sexuality without the burden of choosing, and honoring your growth
●Girls weekend
●Interspecies relationship
●Characters growth
●To the point steamy scenes🥵🥵🥵🥵
●Grown women having a good damn time
● Women in STEM Careers
●Big Girl representation💜
●Ris was all about get that 🍆🍆🍆😆
● Khash & Lurielle relationship ( stinking cute💜)
● Tate ( freaky ASF🥵)
●Silva of The Night 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
📚What I didn't like
● Time jumping ( very minor)
Overall, I wasn't expecting this book have serious themes at all. I was thoroughly surprised to read the background stories of Ris, Lurielle, and Silva. Like X-Ray vision, it was clear, in the cases of Lurielle & Silva how their negative parental opinions had lasting affects on their imaging and self worth. Sadly, in real life--our own family or those close to you, would do everything to hurt you even when it's sugarcoated in love.
Nonetheless, I am #TeamLurielle & #TeamSilva.
💫Highly reccomend if you want a good time💫
