I am really enjoying this series! It centers around an accidental pregnancy, so if that’s a major red flag for you, I’d skip this book (but still read the others). I adored Rush, the MMC, and how he stepped in to help Faye and support her during the pregnancy. They went from acquaintances to friends to more in a natural and realistic progression, which I appreciated. Faye was a complicated character, and I credit Devney for giving us a poor heroine who’s truly struggling to make ends meet while at the same time learning how to let someone else in. At times, I found her to be a bit too stubborn, but then again I had to really think about her circumstances. There was a great friendship side storyline with Rush’s roommate, which I believe will pave the path for book four. And the epilogue was the absolute best… but that’s a given with any Devney Perry book.
