the beginning of the book was a little slow to me but as i kept reading i started to appreciate and love k.a tucker’s storytelling. seeing calla reconnect with her estranged father was heartwarming! i wish we got more moments of them together :(
jonah really serving the dislike to lovers trope bc i also didn’t like him at first esp with his comments towards calla about wearing makeup but he slowly grew on me.
