Echoes by Maeve Binchy

4.0

Maeve Binchy's books are like mashed potatoes or chocolate cake or a soft warm blanket on a winter night--something I can reliably turn to for comfort. I love settling into her scenes and getting to know her characters and hearing the Irish accent that flows through her writing.

By using multiple points of views, she is able to show different facets of her characters. We see their faults and virtues through different lenses and that blurs the lines between the two and sometimes one becomes the other.

All in all, a very nice read for dark December.
