Nat Enough (Nat Enough #1), Volume 1 by Maria Scrivan

5.0

What a delightful read! Nat is entering middle school, and she can't wait to get the school year started with her best friend. However, things take a surprise turn when out-of-the-blue her best friend decides she no longer wants to be Nat's friend. Instead, she has befriended the most popular girl in their class and wants absolutely nothing to do with Nat. Devastated, Nat makes several attempts to win her best friend back(with no luck). Friendless, Nat must figure out who she is and who her real friends are. I highly recommend this book for girls ages 10 to 12 who are preparing to transition to middle school. It really is a positive example of how girls can deal with rejection and changing social circles.
