I really liked this.
I was expecting a dark romance with lots of spice, a good plot, and a villain and I got it all.
The world was a little hard to understand at times, but the characters made up for it. Not only was our main couple interesting, but so were their family members and the minor characters. It made me care about a lot of them, so when someone was killed, I was either happy or sad (depending on which character died).
It was SUCH a painful slow burn that tortured me in the best way and it was worth it. I also liked the romance between our leads and it was great watching how they come together and the obstacles they face.
This series is a must for any fans of dark romance.
