Dear Edna Sloane by Amy Shearn

4.0

I am torn on this one because the second half of this book is 1000x better than the first half, but the first half moves so slowly that by the time you get to the second half, there is a tired feeling. I almost quit the book because it took so long to get to where you want the book to go.
I did like the email/text/magazine version of story telling. It made the read fun.

If you want to know, here is a spoiler-
after a lengthy search for Edna Sloan, halfway through Edna is indeed alive and the narrative switches to her and her story. Skip to the middle when you get the gist of the first half. You will not miss anything
