This book was heartbreaking but so so good. I get hesitant reading music artist trope books and did find the first bit of this book cringe with the boy band archetype. But once I pushed through that, I adored this book. Ashley Poston is officially an autobuy/autoread author for me because this book solidified it. Poston does magical realism well and it’s always done so uniquely, it doesn’t feel repetitive. If you like music and small town romances, this one is for you!
