The Ghost and the Graveyard by Genevieve Jack

2.0

There are some books that have a great idea but a very sloppy execution, sometimes the writing is so bad that you can't get through it regardless of how intrigued you are.
This book has the opposite issue. the writing is great, engaging. The premise however got so ridiculous half way into the book that I couldn't finish it, not even for the writing.
Another review highlighted that with a cover where the main character is standing with a sword, you expect some serious badass. however what you get in a character named Grateful is someone who believes that because she resembles Barbie she is destined to have bad relationships, and a lot of feeling sorry for herself. that is just the beginning of what is wrong with her in my opinion.
