I really loved this book! The characters were so compassionately written and so real! I laughed out loud, I gasped, my heart broke, and I told anyone who would listen what was happening in the plot at that point.
I don't often like mystery books, but I enjoyed this one. It was light hearted enough for me, a raging empath, to read before bed. And the women were actually three dimensional characters: a welcome change in crime fiction.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants an upbeat mystery, or someone who wants to dive back into reading again.

Moderate: Death, Dementia, and Murder
Minor: Alcohol, Animal death, Blood, Gun violence, Grief, Medical content, Pregnancy, and Terminal illness
Most of the content warnings are implied because it is a crime fiction novel, and most are handled well within the context. These themes are lighter than in many other crime novels, but they are still present.
