I received an ARC of this book at the ALA Conference. All thoughts are my own. This cozy queer fantasy warmed my heart. I fell in love with the characters immediately, especially Briar and Adelaide. The author writes in a way that makes you feel like you're there with the characters going on this adventure with them. I loved watching these characters grow and learn from each other and watch their little found family form. I felt the ending was a little fast paced and would have loved to get more detail about what happens in the last 50 pages or so. Overall, I definitely recommend this book.
