The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

I realy like this book. The writing is stunning, I could see the whole thing in my head like a movie. The main criticisms of this book, I think, are the lack of plot and the lack of magic system. But I felt like that was kinda the point. I think it's supposed to be unclear and up to interpretation, like how the circus seems to the visitors. You can tell that there is more to the magic than is shown, and that there is so much more going on in the story than you get to see, and I can obviously see why that would be frustrating to alot of people, but personally I found it fascinating. I think we're supposed to see the circus from the eyes of an outsider, almost one of the visitors. There are chapters in second-person, which are obviously used to put you in the shoes of a visitor, but I think that goes farther than just those chapters, ya know? I feel like a visitor to the circus when I read this book, and I enjoyed that, but I can also understand why others would want more than that.
